Spark "GRID-0" Titanium Full Exhaust Yamaha YZF R1
Spark R&D has been working for a long time to offer a complete and super competitive product range, 3/4 systems or full systems, so as to ensure maximum performance to the owners of the Japanese supersport bike. They are available in different materials and with different types of silencers in order to meet the multiple aesthetic needs and the different noise limits. In fact, strict noise limits have been introduced on European circuits, during both free practice and race days. The maximum dB level allowed varies according to the championship and the bikes' engine. Spark has therefore developed different products allowing to obtain maximum performance as well as to respect such noise limits, without db killers.
The 3/4 system consists of a 2in1 manifold to eliminate the catalytic converter and silencer. The system has been studied and designed in order to obtain maximum performance while keeping the original manifold. The pipes are available both in AISI 304 stainless steel and in titanium and in 2 different configurations: diameter 54mm (the first version, optimized for 2015-2019 MY which allows you to reach even lower dB) or d.60mm (system optimized for 2020-2023 MY, with 60mm inlet diameter silencer).
The different ¾ systems are listed below:
3/4 KIT D.54: 2in1 collector+ FORCE silencer - GYA8828
3/4 KIT D.60: 2in1 collector + MOTO-GP silencer - GYA8879
3/4 KIT D.60: 2in1 collector + GRID-O silencer - GYA8858
3/4 KIT D.60: 2in1 collector + FORCE EVO silencer - GYA8859
3/4 KIT D.60: 2in1 collector + FORCE silencer - GYA8882
3/4 KIT D.60: 2in1 collector + KONIX silencer - GYA8883
The full system is the top-range product developed in cooperation with teams participating in major international championships. In addition to the research for collectors' best sizing to optimize performance, technologies and structural details of the product ensures top reliability. In fact, many teams have chosen the Spark system to face the Endurance World Championship which is already World Champion in 2017 in Stock1000 category.
From the aesthetic point of view the connecting pipe wins you over with visible welds enhancing the racing nature of the product. Weldings, segments and cones are not simple aesthetic quibbles but they are necessary solutions: after repeated bench tests such specific cones - out of the production standards - have been chosen as they allow the best torque. Hence the maximum, sought after together with the world championship teams, is re-proposed in the catalogue, both in the version with steel and full titanium collectors. The system produced until 2021 has been replaced by the new manifold configuration which is improved both from the performance and technical point of view thanks to the introduction of CNC machined bushings on couplings.
Also in this case, different silencers have been combined, for different sound level levels:
FULL SYSTEM D.65: STAINLESS STEEL COLLECTOR + FORCE EVO silencer - GYA8881
FULL SYSTEM D.65: TITANIUM COLLECTOR + KONIX EVO silencer - GYA8880
FULL SYSTEM D.65: TITANIUM COLLECTOR + MOTO GP silencer - GYA8850
FULL SYSTEM D.65: TITANIUM COLLECTOR + GRID-O silencer - GYA8871
Among the 2023 news is the new full titanium EWC system used in the Endurance World Championship:
EWC D.65 COMPLETE SYSTEM: FULL TITANIUM + FORCE EVO silencer - GYA8894
