The 2020+ Yamaha is probably the bike we get emailed about tuning the most so we decided to take it on. Having a massive customer and fanbase makes this bike is incredibly popular. Your requests helped our tuning become a priority at our headquarters in Massachusetts. While the R1 isn't a new platform, its addition to our lineup is. With all the known tuners stumped with the flashing protocol on this machine, we wanted to step in and help; and with the help of our engineers, we have been able to streamline the much needed ECU development in a short amount of time. This has quickly turned into the best upgrade you can get for your R1 with gains of up to almost +50WHP from just a flash!We have found the 2020+ R1 has a lot of changes to the software and ECU side. We use factory information and reverse engineering, meaning we don’t use incomplete editors to nudge fueling a little, like some competitors will try to do. We had to develop ECU strategies from square one. From acquisition of the bike, to spare control units to Euro and US testing, we found out how everything works down to the last detail and what differs so much in power output. After all our hard work we are able to bring you our Stage 1 ECU upgrade.
